One man is hospitalised in critical but stable condition and another is in police custody following a stabbing on Friday morning in George Town, police said.
Authorities received a report shortly after 10am on Friday that a man had been stabbed on Kingbird Drive in Grand Cayman, according to a news release issued Monday by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.
The 49-year-old victim was taken to Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town, where he is undergoing treatment, police said. Authorities described his condition as critical, but stable.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
