Royal Cayman Islands Police were
investigating the death of a tourist Friday afternoon.
Police said a 55-year-old man who
got into trouble snorkeling off Seven Mile Beach had to be rescued and assisted
back to shore by beach visitors around 1.30pm Friday.
The man, a US citizen, was
administered CPR by paramedics who arrived on the scene.
He was transported to the Cayman
Islands Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
