Precision Industries, a residential and commercial roofing company operating in Cayman Islands for more than 15 years, has opened a solar power division.
“Offering solar power services is a natural extension of our roofing business,” said Sean Reid, managing director. “We know our way around rooftops and we have a knowledgeable team that is qualified to perform solar panel installations properly.”
Precision Industries’ solar division offers consulting, education and systems installations for solar pool pumps, and solar panels to support participation in Caribbean Utilities Company’s CORE programme.
The company’s solar specialist Dale Nickason has experience with feed-in-tariff projects such as the one that CUC is offering for commercial and residential property owners, Mr. Reid said.
He also encourages everyone to take a closer look at solar power options.
“The potential return on investment is much better than it was even a few years ago. Panel prices have decreased and technology has improved, so using solar power makes a lot of sense,” he said. “And aside from saving money, you are also helping save the environment.”
