Reid’s at Pedro, formerly Durty Reid’s, has closed.
In a joint press release from Red bay Café Ltd. and the Tourism Attraction Board, it was announced that Reid’s closed 1 November for economic reasons.
Mr. Reid Dennis, owner and promoter of the restaurant, bar and catering business, is spending much of his time off island for personal reasons and has not been able to devote the time necessary to run the business.
‘I am sad to see it go, but we did have some great times and I was very pleased to have been a part of Pedro St. James for a short period of time,’ he said.
Mr. Gilbert Connolly, CEO of the Tourism Attraction Board, said Pedro Café will remain vacant until the space can be properly tendered out and net tenants four to lease it.
