Over three consecutive days this week, three vessels carrying 27 Cubans between them arrived in Cayman Brac, Customs and Border Control has confirmed.
In each case, the people on board the boats disembarked, and they are now being processed by CBC. When that is completed, they will be transported to Grand Cayman.
The latest boat, carrying five male and two females, arrived on Friday, 21 Oct., around 7:15am in the North East Bay area of the Brac, according to a press release issued by the border control department.
On Thursday afternoon, eight males arrived by boat in Cayman Brac.
The day before, on Wednesday, 11 males and one female arrived on the island.
Earlier this month, on the morning of 4 Oct., two other boats, carrying 10 male Cubans arrived together on the Brac, and have also been processed, CBC said.
