  1. This sort of news used to never appear. Then once or twice a year.
Now it seems to be almost every week.
How can we continue to claim to have low crime?

Are these crimes committed by a handful of individuals, as I suspect?
A massive reward must be offered by the government and this stamped out.
Or kiss goodbye to our tourism industry as we’ll be no different to any other Caribbean island.

  2. We have been shocked to hear all the news of armed robberies…GC used to be an island of no violence or handguns. The more these stories appear, the more we second guess our future trip. It is unfortunate the island’s strict lockdown may have given people more reason to be desperate for money, as their incomes were obliterated by lack of tourism.
