After responding to a report of a stabbing in South Side West Road on Cayman Brac shortly after 1:30am Sunday, police officers arrested 30-year-old man on suspicion of wounding.
It was reported that a man had been at that location when another man approached him, began behaving aggressively and then stabbed the victim multiple times before leaving the area, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said in a press release Monday.
Emergency services transported the victim to Faith Hospital for treatment for his injuries, which appear to be non-life-threatening. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
Officers later located and arrested a man on suspicion of wounding in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
