A 25-year-old man has appeared in court charged with indecent exposure near Seven Mile Beach.
Police said the man, from George Town, was arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to a woman walking on a public path close to Raleigh Quay.
Police added, he had been charged with being an “idle and disorderly person” and appeared in Summary Court on 2 Feb. The alleged incident happened on 21 Jan.
Police said that other alleged incidents in the area, including other reports of indecent exposure, continued to be investigated.
The man was released on bail after his court appearance, with an interim sexual harm order imposed to restrict his movements. He is expected to appear again on Tuesday, 24 Feb.
