A man and a woman were arrested after a raid on a home netted alleged ganja and cocaine, as well as cash and what was said to be an unlicensed firearm.
The 33-year-old man and the woman, 36, were at a house on Lariat Road, North Side, when police and customs officials arrived with a search warrant.
Officers seized a quantity of cash from the scene before a wider search of the area and some vehicles turned up more alleged ganja and the suspected firearm.
The raid happened at about 3pm on Sunday, 5 July.
A police spokeswoman said, “The items were seized for investigative purposes and the matter remains under police investigation.”
