Motorists using the Island Heritage Roundabout on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway will not be able make a full circle around the roundabout this week, as upgrading work on the site continues.

The National Roads Authority announced Thursday that it will be carrying out improvement works to the Island Heritage roundabout on Esterley Tibbetts Highway.

Throughout all the districts of Grand Cayman, Christmas scenes and sparkling festive lights abound.

Whether they know it or not, drivers passing through the Island Heritage Roundabout on Esterley Tibbetts Highway between now and Thursday, May 31, will be earning money for one of three charities.

Three men were injured, one critically, Saturday night after the car they were in went off the road into the bush and later burst into flames. The crash happened behind the Strand shopping center along the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, just south of the Island Heritage roundabout.
