Police Officers arrested a 75-year old male resident on suspicion of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving following the fatal accident Monday in which a fellow officer was killed.
The male, who was driving a Chevy Cavalier, was arrested at 12:10p.m.
A post mortem examination will also be scheduled.
Constable Niven Dixon, 31, who was driving a Jeep Wrangler, sustained serious head injuries and was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
