Two men seriously injured
Two men sustained serious injuries following a one-vehicle accident, which occurred in the vicinity of High Rock Drive, East End Wednesday at 7.59p.m.
The Emergency Communications Centre (911) received the report from a man who said he had pulled two unconscious men – a 27-year-old a 22-year-old – from a white Chevy pick-up truck that collided with a tree and then caught fire.
Police Officers, Fire Officers and Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and the fire was subsequently extinguished. The injured males, who received serious spinal cord injuries and head injuries, were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police Officers at the West Bay Police Station continue to receive reports of persons playing loud music either at their residence or in their vehicles and would like to remind the public that this is an offence under the Town and Community Law.
One warning will be issued to loud music offenders and any person who further breaches the law will be prosecuted and can expect to pay a fine and/or have their music equipment confiscated.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service is looking for the owner of several items that were recovered from the South Sound area in September 2004. The items include headphones, a set of pots, towels, sheets and binoculars. All of the recovered items are in good condition.
