Maple House cleans up

The residents of Maple House are the new owners of a heavy duty washer and dryer thanks to proceeds raised from the recent Good Times event, held 29 July and sponsored by Digicel.

Maple House is a small residential facility that houses children and adults with special needs. The organization also offers a day care program for those who do not live within the home, but still need the attention and care of trained staff.

‘We always appreciate donations given to our organization since we are continually in need of assistance,’ said House Manager Mrs. Pamela Bryan. ‘We particularly give thanks to the promoters of the Good Times event, for their continued support Furthermore, we would especially like to express our gratitude for this donation since laundering is a continual process, in light of the fact that we work with non-ambulant clients who are incontinent.’

‘It is very important that organizations like Maple House are recognized and supported, as they are providing children and adults with special needs the attention and care necessary to enhance their lives,’ said Digicel’s Senior Marketing Executive Mrs. Gemma Mclaughlin.
