Cayman National Bank has a new branch at Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah Newlands.
Governor Stuart Jack cut the ribbon Tuesday evening, officially opening the centre in front of invited guests, employees and bank officials.
The branch at Countryside is the bank’s seventh customer service centre in the Cayman Islands and is the only bank with customer service centres on all three islands.
‘Our decision to establish a banking presence in the gateway to the Eastern Districts was based primarily on the needs of the people of Bodden Town, East End and North Side,’ said Ormond Williams, Cayman National Bank President.
‘We are pleased to bring banking to the eastern districts with the addition of a new customer service centre at Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah and our 24-hour ATM located in East End at Foster’s Express.’
‘We have introduced creative hours at Centennial Towers in West Bay and at Countryside, which are 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Our Saturday banking is also offered at Edward Street, 9am to 1pm. For our customers’ convenience we also offer loan services on Saturdays at Edward Street and Countryside.’
After the brief ceremony and cutting of the ribbon guests were invited to tour the new facilities, enjoy music played by After Dark and refreshments.
Customers are offered banking services at the following locations: Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, Edward Street, Buckingham Square on West Bay Road, Centennial Towers in West Bay, Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah and at the main office on Elgin Avenue.
Plans are under way for another Cayman National Customer Service Centre at Camana Bay, the new Dart development on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway.
