TAB promoting weddings at Pedro St. James

The Tourism Attraction Board invites brides and grooms-to-be and other wedding planners to the unveiling of a new, full-service wedding gazebo at Pedro St. James on Wednesday at 5pm.

The new and improved location offers more than seven acres of historical, cultural and authentic sights, accompanied by beautiful ocean views, said a TAB press release.

‘Our goal is to position TAB’s attractions in the strongest way possible to take advantage of the growing market for destination weddings,’ said the Board’s Chief Executive Officer Gilbert Connolly.

Pedro St. James has numerous onsite options for weddings of varying scales and can facilitate large groups in the gazebo and small groups in the courtyard.

In addition to Pedro St. James, the Botanic Park is another exciting and beautiful location for persons wishing to get married.

The TAB is currently marketing its entities – Pedro Castle, the Botanic Park, Craft Market and Hell – with the aim of expanding and improving them for both residents and tourists, the release said.

‘The Board sees great potential in the expanding market, and we are working with the Ministry of TEI&C, the Department of Tourism and other industry partners to develop the Cayman Islands as a top-notch wedding destination,’ said Mr. Connolly.
