Both the Iguanas and Storm started the season off scoring four tries and ensuring maximum points as well as the bonus point in their first match. The Iguanas slowly wore down the Buccaneers and ran away with the match in the second half scoring five tries in total. The new club the HSBC Academy played well in their first match. Made up of players between the ages of 15 and 18 they battled their adult counterparts well. The Storm did manage to score four tries to one but had to fight for every inch. The Queensgate Pigs trotters enjoyed the week off.
This Saturday is the ReMax over 35’s Knackerfest which will see Jamaica the ReMax and Cayman sides battle it out on Saturday and Sunday. All details of the weekend can be found on the union website www.caymanrugby.com
