The RCIPS arrested a man in the early hours of Saturday morning after the car he was driving collided with a second vehicle on West Bay Road and ended up on its roof.
Officers on patrol came across the crash, involving a black Honda Accord and a Pearl Lexus at around 3.30am in the vicinity of West Bay Fire Station.
The man suffered some minor abrasions for which he did not receive hospital treatment.
He was arrested for dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
In a separate incident on Sunday afternoon two cars collided in the vicinity of Captain Reginald Parsons Drive and Conch Point Road, West Bay. At around 2.40pm the 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a call reporting that two vehicles were involved in a collision. It would appear the cars collided as one was attempting to overtake the other. The vehicles are a Metallic beige Honda Torneo and a Blue Honda Orthia.
Each vehicle was carrying three passengers. Two people were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries. Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either vehicle prior to the collision. Anyone who can help should contact the traffic department on 946-6254.
