CIFA offers football forum for all coaches to discuss updates and new trends in the sport

All the CIFA delegates who attended the 3rd International Football Forum in Brazil last December, will be conducting a football forum aimed at all the local coaches from all levels, to give them their impressions and relate their experiences from the Football Technology Convention, as well as from the FA CONCACAF FITNESS FOR FOOTBALL WORKSHOP – TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO 2006. The event will take place on Monday 15th and Thursday 18th January at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex’s VIP Lounge at 7:30pm.

The event will be named: ‘CAYMAN FOOTBALL FORUM – An international view of football’ and it will comprise information gathered from both events. The forum will be leaded by Marcos Tinoco, Technical Director for the Cayman Islands Football Association.

The FA CONCACAF FITNESS FOR FOOTBALL WORKSHOP provided an upgrade of the knowledge base of staff in the preparation of players for major international competition at the senior, female and youth level. On the other hand, FOOTECON’s main objective was the exchange of information and the discussion of new trends in soccer; beyond the realm of the traditional approach of tactical and technical aspects of football, with a focus on technologies applied to sports, FOOTECON now has a permanent forum for topics related to sports business and commercialization.

CIFA strongly encourages all local coaches from any level to attend this workshop, since it will cover a wide range of topics in football such as fitness, medicine, legislation, technology and psychology. The admission for this event is completely free.

Interested individuals are encouraged to call the CIFA office at 949-5775, or to send a request for information by e-mail to [email protected]mailto:[email protected].
