Cayman Airways is advising the public that effective 21 February there will be additional information required when making reservations or checking-in for flights to Jamaica.
Customers who make reservations via Cayman Airways Reservations, Cayman Airways’ website or their travel agent, should be prepared to provide the following information for each person: first and last name, gender, date of birth, nationality and flight number. You will also need to tell the airline your passport number, its date of issue, expiry date as well as the country issuing passport.
Passengers are urged to provide this information when purchasing tickets as collecting this information at check-in at the airport will significantly increase check-in times, says a press release.
The airline said the information is required by the Jamaican Immigration and Custom Authorities.
