Picturethis… hosts Business After Hours

Chamber members are invited to attend a Business After Hours this Thursday at 5.30pm at Picturethis… in Centennial Towers.

The West Bay company was opened in November 2003 by Troy and Lisa Burke, and Gary and Rebecca Hollins. As well as providing a full range of photography services including location, studio, commercial shoots and, it offers a service digital lab and retail store to the community.

In October 2005, the company expanded and added a custom framing department, graphic design department and a larger retail area offering Prinz, Umbra, MCS and MBI products.

Rebecca Hollins (nee Davidson) is an accomplished photographer and the inspiration for Picturethis…. She is part of a new generation of photographers, who, due to the advances in technology over recent years, has seen her creative input go well beyond the moment when capturing an image.

Working with a team of highly-motivated designers, printers, and framers they strive to produce or push a concept further to create something truly unique.

Picturethis… will be showcasing their custom framing department at the Business After Hours. The framing department has trained and dedicated staff that guide customers in selecting a frame to showcase their picture irrespective of budget. The finished product takes one week for in stock frames and between two to three weeks for special order frames.

Mary Brown, formerly Callaghan, has worked with Picturethis… since October 2005. She has trained as a custom framer in Grand Cayman and has worked in the field for the past four years. She has an artistic background and assists clients in creating a unique way to showcase their photography and artwork. As well as helping customers to choose a frame for photos or paintings, Mary will also help to choose a frame to suit the room where the picture will hang.

Picturethis… is an innovative, original and creative company offering photography, graphic design and custom framing. The company prides itself on its commitment to be the only place in Cayman where they start with capturing the image and turn it into a lifetime memory. A customer can go there to get photographs taken and then turn it into a unique piece of artwork for their home.

Giveaways at Business After Hours include a $250 gift certificate for the custom framing department, a gift certificate from the graphic design department, a gift basket; photo accessories and other surprise items.
