Five boys, aged 12-17, were arrested over this past weekend after police said they attempted to take money and pizza from the Domino’s store in West Bay. Police said the five only ended up getting away with some sodas. A Domino’s staff member called the 911 Emergency Communications Centre around 1.45pm Saturday to report the store was being robbed by a group of youngsters, one of whom had a piece of steel pipe. Witnesses said the five boys first demanded money from the cashier before going into the manager’s office and demanding cash again. According to those at the store, the suspects then asked for a pizza before grabbing some sodas and leaving. A 13, 15 and 17-year-old were arrested shortly after the soda heist on suspicion of robbery. Officers arrested a 12 year-old and another 13-year-old on Sunday in connection with the incident. Anyone with information or who was in the area at the time the crime occurred is asked to contact DC Valentine Reid on 949-3999.
