Two Cayman Brac residents who died in a Saturday morning accident have been identified by police.
The victims were 45-year-old Mark ‘Victor’ Walton, Jr. of Spot Bay and 45-year-old Carldene Edwards from Stake Bay.
Royal Cayman Islands Police investigators said the pair died when the vehicle they were riding in crashed into a tree on Stake Bay Road near the public works building around 8.15am.
An investigation is under way into the cause of the crash.
