The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service has arrested four teenagers following the alleged assault of a 38-year-old man which took place on Friday, June 1 in George Town.
The youngsters, aged between 15 and 17, were all arrested over the course of the last week. Two remain in police custody and two have been released on police bail pending further investigations.
At approximately 4.30pm on June 1, the 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a call from a member of the public reporting that he was being attacked by a group of youngsters near the Thompson Building in George Town. Police and medics responded and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. He was released later that evening.
