Customers are now offered full banking services at the following locations: West End in Cayman Brac, Blossom Village in Little Cayman, Buckingham Square on West Bay Road, Centennial Towers in West Bay, Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah, Edward Street downtown George Town, Camana Bay off West Bay Road, and at the main offices on Elgin Avenue in George Town.

‘Cayman National is pleased to again bring banking to our clients,’ said CEO and President of Cayman National Corporation Mr. Stuart Dack. ‘Just over a year ago we took banking to the entrance of the Eastern Districts with our service centre at Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah. Tonight’s grand opening speaks to continued growth of Cayman National.

‘Headquartered in the Cayman Islands, we at Cayman National have local decision making power, which helps to expedite our services to our customers. Through six subsidiaries we are able to meet virtually any of your personal or business financial objectives – online banking, investment services, trust services, company formation, administration and management, fund management, premier banking and insurance brokerage,’ Mr. Dack said. ‘As a financial services group, our objectives are to provide a wide range of financial services to the Cayman domestic market and to the international clients using the jurisdictions of the Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, or Panama.’

Leader of Government Business Kurt Tibbetts noted that Cayman National Bank is truly a Caymanian institution and its staff is almost 100 percent Caymanian.

‘The opening is a wonderful way to bring in 2008, because I view it as an indicator that the wheels of the financial industry continue to turn smoothly in our Islands. And I say continue with absolute intention, especially because this month, the bank celebrates an outstanding 34 years of service to the people of the Cayman Islands.

‘From what I know of this team, they are better referred to as the CNB family. Even more so, they make customers – both onshore and offshore – feel that they, also, are members in the family circle. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a testament to CNB’s founding fathers. It is the kind of relationship that every business hopes to achieve with its customers, but few in fact actually do,’ Mr. Tibbetts said. ‘The brand is firmly linked with the strong, proactive corporate sponsorship of many social, sporting and cultural events. Cayman National does much more than give back – it helps to uplift, motivate and educate a cross-section of the community.’

Cayman National Bank President Mr. Ormond Williams said, ‘We know our clients have busy lives and would like to have their banking experience as convenient as possible without any compromise on quality. Our response is to open the Camana Bay Customer Service Center outside of bustling George Town where clients can conduct their business in a modern office with an atmosphere conducive for excellence.

‘As the only local and community retail bank in the Cayman Islands, we understand that our responsibility must go beyond ‘doing business’ to partnering with our clients to achieve their financial success and the socio-economic development of our country. Hence, our strategy continues to focus on bringing our business to the client and providing alternative delivery channels throughout all three islands along with offering a diverse suite of products and services designed to exceed client expectations.’

Cayman National has been providing personal, commercial and corporate financial services to local and international clients for 34 years.
