Course starts Wednesday, 23 January.
The National Gallery is offering a new course in batik.
The six-week course, at the gallery’s Education Centre, Bay Town Plaza, will be instructed by local artist Lorna Reid.
The course will focus on the basic techniques of batik, including dye mixing and colouring of fabric.
The class will be held every Wednesday, 5.15pm to 7.15pm, starting 23 January.
Cost is $175; 10 percent discount for NG members, plus materials.
