Maples sponsors top education award

Maples and Calder is the sponsor of the first Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Award in Education.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to an exceptional individual recognised for a lifetime of dedication and significant contributions to the field of education at the Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching.

This outstanding educator will receive the award during the Golden Apples Awards Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman on Friday, which will be televised LIVE on Cayman27 at 9pm.

‘This individual is a visionary leader whose lifetime contribution to the development of education in the Cayman Islands has been exemplary and whose inspiration has served to advance student learning, academic achievement and excellence in the education profession’ said Chamber President Mr. James Tibbetts. ‘We are pleased to introduce this prestigious award this year with our corporate sponsor Maples and Calder. The Chamber of Commerce, Maples and Calder and The Partners in Education have chosen this person for the award to set the highest standard of excellence for the coming years. Next year we plan to open the nominations to the public.’
