Digicel recently unveiled details of the Digicel Professional Development Programme.
The programme aims to assist employees in furthering their education and gain the skills necessary to advance their careers.
One of the first participants in the programme is Crystal Gomez, who has played an integral role in the Digicel Cayman marketing team over the past four years.
Digicel is supporting Crystal with a US$6,000 donation to her study fund as she begins a degree in Marketing and International business at Huron University in London.
‘Digicel believes in providing its employees with the necessary support to further their education and develop their skills,’ said Digicel CEO, Victor Corcoran.
‘We have a fantastic team at Digicel Cayman, and while Crystal will be greatly missed as she moves to London … we hope that she returns to Digicel at the end of her studies, bringing with her the valuable experience she will have gained during her three years in London.’
Crystal Gomez said: ‘After almost four years working in the Marketing Department in Digicel, I am delighted to have this opportunity and support from Digicel to further my education.’
