Visitors love Grand Cayman

My wife and I have been coming to Cayman at least annually since 1993.

We have to travel from Edinburgh, Scotland, so there is a fair bit hassle in that, but it is so worth it to get to Seven Mile Beach.

We stayed at the Hyatt but since the hurricane have stayed at the Beach Suites.

The staff is just so nice the beach is lovely and of course the water is magnificent. We are not divers but love being near the water.

The passengers from the cruise ships are a bit of a nuisance from time to time when they sit on the deck chairs of the hotel guests but in some ways it adds to the fun of the holiday. The restaurants are wonderful with Hemingway’s, Copper Falls, Decker’s The Bamboo and Casanova’s being among our favourites.

We are scheduled to return at Christmas again this year for five weeks and it is only the journey that will deter us in the future.

We love the people who in the main are so friendly and love to chat whenever you meet them. Cayman is coming to a time of change and we hope that the Islands’ basic charms are not lost in the process. A lovely island inhabited by a mix of charming people is just perfect for a relaxing holiday.
