Premier McKeeva Bush gave his
support to the CARIFTA Games on Saturday. Mr Bush made a short but Olympic-standard
sprint with the CARIFTA flag and baton at Morgan’s Harbour in West Bay.
He received the items from local
Olympian Ronald Forbes, who came into the harbour by boat.
From there Mr Bush handed the
ceremonial pieces to Cayman track star Cydonie Mothersill who then proceeded to
run with the items to John A Cumber primary school.
The CARIFTA Games are at the Truman
Bodden Sports Complex over the Easter weekend 3-5 April.
