Police confirmed late Friday that a purse-snatching suspect had made off with a
higher than usual take from his crime.
According to officers at
George Town Police Station, the woman had about $10,000 in her bag when it was
taken.
The money was apparently
takings from a local business, according to police.

The purse-snatching
occurred around 1.30pm Friday along Godfrey-Nixon Way near the GKF business
centre.
Police said the woman was
not hurt and that the suspected robber made off on a bicycle after taking the
purse.
No arrests were
immediately reported.
