Youth photography workshop set

Caymanian professional photographer
Patrick Broderick is scheduled to lead a student photography workshop on 28 and
29 August.

During the workshop, organized by
the New Self-Help Community Foundation, Mr. Broderick will work with 15
participants’ ages 14 to 19 on building their photography skills.

The workshop has been organised by
the New Self-Help Community Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to
help teenagers develop a sense of self-worth, independence and community
spirit.  As part of their Project 2012
programme, the foundation is offering a series of training and experience in
the arts, including video-documentary production, photography, song writing and

Students will have the opportunity
to showcase their work and collect their participation certificate at a special
event, which will also feature the awards presentation of the Creative Cultural
Writers Competition. 

Mr. Broderick will also lead a
showcase of student photography at the Talent Exposition of the Arts to be held
in June 2011 at the Harquail Theatre.

partner with The Ministry of Health, Environment, Youth, Sports and Culture,
the George Town Primary School and Patrick Broderick to promote the positive
