Royal Cayman Islands Police have arrested a fourth man in connection with the killing of Jack Kennedy Forbes in Bodden Town earlier this month.
That man, age 34, as well as another suspect in the case, has been released on police bail. Both men remain under investigation.
Two others arrested earlier in connection with Mr. Forbes’ death remained in police custody Monday.
About 6.20pm on 1 October, RCIPS officers received a report that a man was lying on the ground at
Plaza Odessa, located on Bodden Town Road..Police who attended the scene found that the man had sustained
serious injuries and had apparently lost consciousness.
The man, identified as Mr. Forbes, had previously served a jail sentence for
Police had received reports from the public that there had been a fight in
the area of the mall, which is just east of the Bodden Town Police Station.
According to witnesses, Mr. Forbes had suffered serious blunt force injuries
and also possibly some stab wounds.
Police did not confirm a motive for the attack, which was the eighth homicide to
occur in Grand Cayman this year.
