A 20-year-old man was arrested following an incident in the Bodden Town area where a stolen vehicle tried to evade police and crashed into a wall.
At about 8.55pm Thursday, police officers following a black Porsche on Bodden Town Road noted it speeding toward George Town.
The officers, who were in a marked police vehicle, signaled the driver of the car to stop, using both blue lights and sirens. Police said the driver did not comply with the orders and ended up smashing into a wall in along Shamrock Road near Armstrong Road.
The two men inside the Porsche bailed out of the vehicle and ran off, police said. Neither man appeared to be injured.
A search of the area was conducted and the vehicle was removed from the location to undergo forensic examination.
