Third arrest in Money Express robbery, cash, gun recovered

Two other suspects charged

A police operation Thursday resulted
in the arrest of a third man in connection with the armed robbery at Reggae
Money Express and the discovery of a large amount of money.

The 26-year-old was arrested in the
Prospect area on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact.

Officers also recovered an
imitation firearm and substantial amount of money during the arrest.

He has been released on bail while
the investigation continues.

The Money Express store was held up
on Saturday.

Two men
arrested immediately after the robbery remain in police custody. They were both charged Friday with theft, conspiracy to steal and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The were identified in court as Joseph Lloyd Suberan, 19, and Sanjay Andre Burrell, 21, both from George Town district.

Both were granted bail Friday afternoon by the magistrate hearing the case.
