Physiotherapist joins local practice

Newly registered physiotherapist Vanessa Williams has joined Back to Health at Cayman Clinic.

Ms Williams studied at the University of the West Indies where she received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.

She has been employed as a physiotherapist by the Ministry of Health and by various private practices in Jamaica.

She has also worked and volunteered at the Neurological and Physical Abilitation Institute in the United States, specialising in treating children with neurological problems.

At Back to Health, Ms Williams will offer physiotherapy consultations, treatments for back and neck pain, sprains and strains, musculoskeletal injuries, soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, post-stroke treatment or CVA, developmental delays and exercise regimes.

Back to Health Physiotherapy provides services to promote, sustain and restore maximum functional ability.

Ms Williams will also be at GNC in Queen’s Court on West Bay Road for a promotion on 2 March to carry out free consultations, gait analysis, proper lifting techniques, proper back care guidelines and aid in creating individual exercise programme.
