George Town Football Club has for years helped bring harmony in the community so it is fitting that they have struck a chord with the
annual Jazz on the Green event on Saturday where all proceeds will go to the club.
George Town are the Digicel Cup champs who retained the trophy two weeks ago and hope to also retain the FA Cup when they enter the competition next month.
Jazz on the Green promises to be the biggest and best in the event’s history with another sizzling offering.
Thankfully, none of the George Town players are performing. They are leaving that to experts like Cesar Lopez y, Etienne Charles, Somi, Devon Edie and Alese. Dale and Lee Ramoon – George Town’s head coach – are again assisting with the production and staging of the event.
Jazz on the Green is outdoors and an all-inclusive festival. A wide selection of Caribbean cuisine and drinks are included in the ticket price of $75 all-inclusive.
It’s at Gaston Maloney’s Gardens, Agnes Way, George Town and tickets are available from Funky Tang’s, Moneygram, Arabus Boutique and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
