Stabbing at Scranton bar

A man was hospitalised Thursday night after he was stabbed at a bar in George Town’s Scranton neighbourhood. 

Royal Cayman Islands Police officers said the stabbing happened around 6.40pm at Jim Woods Bar on Martin Drive. 

The victim was stabbed in the neck and shoulder area, but his injuries were not believed to be fatal. 

Police said the suspect in the attack was described as speaking with an American accent and wearing his hair in dreadlocks.
