Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle accident Saturday night, which left a 67-year-old man with head injuries.
At about 10.30pm a black Dodge caravan was travelling west toward Bodden Town when the driver apparently lost control while negotiating a left hand bend and swerved onto the east bound lane colliding with a grey Toyota Gravia. The accident occurred in the vicinity of Midland Acres, Bodden Town causing the Toyota Gravia to flip over.
The 67-year-old male driver of the Toyota Gravia was taken to Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town with head injuries, where he is being treated.
The 66-year-old male driver of the Dodge Caravan was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Both vehicles received extensive damage.
