Intertrust Group has completed the acquisition of Walkers Management Services, after obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals. The financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed.
Following completion, Intertrust and Walkers Management Services have started a process to integrate WMS into the Intertrust Group.
Part of the integration process is a full re-branding of all WMS activities into the Intertrust brand, which it is expected will be completed by 3 September.
Walkers Management Services provides corporate, fiduciary and company secretarial services from many of the world’s leading financial centres, including the Cayman Islands, Delaware, Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong and the British Virgin Islands.
Headquartered in George Town in Grand Cayman, WMS generates annual sales in excess of US$50 million. The WMS management team is committed to stay with Intertrust Group post integration.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, trust and corporate services firm Intertrust provides commercial, legal, tax and administrative services to multinational corporations and high net worth individuals.
Intertrust will now operate with more than 1,100 people from 31 offices in 21 countries. The acquisition of WMS is part of Intertrust’s acquisition strategy, aimed at extending its expertise and global capabilities in light of ongoing globalisation and its clients’ increasingly complex needs, the company said.
