Indoor volleyball in the Cayman Islands has a new venue in Camana Bay’s Arts and Recreation Centre. 

The Camana Bay National Volleyball League staged its commencement night last Tuesday. Eight sides signed up for the competition, which features national team talents like Richard Campbell. 

Week one saw some interesting results. Team Philippines would win two out of their first three games to top the league. They beat Six Stars 25-14, 25-16 and Notorious D.I.G 25-11, 25-20 before losing to the Goan Spikers in five sets: 19-25, 25-18, 26-28, 25-16, 15-17.  

Notorious beat Six Stars 25-20, 30-32, 15-13 while KPMG defeated Digicel in four sets 21-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-14. The other two teams in the competition are the Unprotected Sets and Crossfit Seven-Milers.
