AtWater strives to boost sporting talent in West Bay

Atwater Consulting Ltd is supporting youth football in Cayman.

AtWater was proud to sponsor the West Bay Sports Foundation’s Community Cup football competition last month at the Ed Bush field in West Bay. In its third year, the Community Cup tournament brought together over 100 footballers under the age of 16 for a one-day event that promoted healthy competition, physical activity and fun whilst providing an opportunity for community members to come together to enjoy an exciting day of football.

The funds received from generous sponsors will assist the foundation’s goal to provide financial support to aspiring athletes, who are pursuing educational and sporting opportunities overseas.

“The work of the West Bay Sports Foundation is near and dear to our hearts. Helping children in the community whilst promoting the numerous benefits of youth in sports is something that is engrained in AtWater’s DNA”, said AtWater Managing Director, Pilar Bush. “With initiatives such as the Community Cup and through the continuous support of businesses within the community, the future of Cayman’s football looks bright.”

Foundation cofounder Ardin ‘Cheeky’ Rivers is extremely grateful for the abundant community support and wanted to send a special thanks to the numerous sponsors for this tournament, as well as the group of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this year’s Community Cup a huge success. Ardin and the entire West Bay Sports Foundation wish all the recipients success in their studies and on the field.
