A notice sent out to parents of students at First Baptist Christian Schoolindicated that a burglary suspect was arrested following a “break in” at the school grounds Tuesday morning.
According to the notice: “An intruder has been caught early [Tuesday] morning following a break in incident at FBCS.
“The perpetrator has been arrested by the police and we are assisting the RCIPS with their inquiries. We do not anticipate any significant disruption to the ministry.”
There was no word on what if anything was taken by the suspect.
School Deacon Ian Fenton said he had no idea why the break-in occurred and congratulated the local police on a quick arrest.
“It was really fabulous work from the RCIPS,” he said.
