Little Cayman’s National Trust is seeking auction items for its fun and popular annual Easter auction.
Proceeds from the sale of the auction items will go to benefit projects of the Little Cayman National Trust District.
This year’s silent and live auctions will be held at 4 and 7.30pm, respectively, on Saturday, 30 March at Trust House in Little Cayman.
This will be the 21st annual Easter auction in Little Cayman.
In previous years, all manner of items and services have been auctioned, including artwork by local artists, sculptures and handmade jewellery and crafts.
Last year’s auction was one of its most successful ever, raising around $89,000.
Money raised at the auctions over the years have helped pay for land to protect the indigenous Sister Islands Rock Iguana and other environmental projects.
Anyone who wants to donate in Grand Cayman to the auction, which is one of the highlights of the social calendar on Little Cayman each year, can drop off items at the National Trust Office on 558A South Church Street or contact 749-1121 on or before 15 March. To donate on Little Cayman, items can be dropped off at Trust House.
