A suspect in the June robbery at Cayman National Bank on West Bay Road has been extradited from Jamaica to face criminal charges.
The 36-year-old suspect is charged with robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence and removing property from the Cayman Islands.
He was one of six people arrested in connection with the 28 June heist.
Four men were initially charged in the bank robbery that was foiled when their getaway vehicle smashed into an armoured van parked in front of the bank offices, located in Buckingham Square.
A fifth suspect, a 40-year-old woman, was arrested a few days after the robbery took place.
