KPMG take down Big Sexy’s Cobras

Sooner or later, you knew it would happen and consequently week four featured the first glaring upset of the Burger King 2013 Coed Flag Football League when KPMG knocked off the Cobras, 14-13.

Adrean “Big Sexy” Russell struggled for the powerhouse Cobras at Ed Bush Sports Centre in West Bay.

Last Friday’s first game saw Kirk Freeport beating Mourant Ozannes 20-14 in overtime. For Kirk Freeport, the Kirkconnell brothers, Chris and Daniel, shuffled playing quarterback and rallied their team back from a two-score deficit.

Christina Hefner kept National Building Society undefeated with a 18-12 win over Grape Tree Café, 18-12. Jamie Stephens propelled Lone Star to a 42-14 beating of Weststar. Tito Solomon guided Wolverines to a 19-18 win over Maples and Cassandra Bodden pushed Child Please! to a 32-15 victory over Duke’s.

Congratulations to Jon Carter of National Building Society and Jessica Ebanks of the Wolverines, who were the men’s and women’s players of the week.
