New computer screens for school

A donation of 10 computer monitors got the thumbs up from students of Savannah Primary School.

Creative Tech’s Corporate Solutions Department donated the Dell monitors last week.

The new Dell monitors will be divided among multiple classrooms allowing students more computer time.

Acting Deputy Principal Elroy Bryan, Ministry of Education ICT Manager Steven Durksen and students were on hand to receive the new hardware. “Creative Tech’s generous donation helps to supplement the existing ICT resources in the school. Any opportunity for more students to access these resources helps to prepare them for the real world,” said Mr. Durksen.

Mario Barrett of Creative Tech said, “We’re in the business of technology because it’s our passion, and what better way to share that passion than to ensure young students have accessibility to technology.”

His colleague Chris Upstone added, “It’s important to introduce and use technology in the classroom as early as possible; this is a way we can help the existing resources reach more students.”
