Two people sustained serious injuries following a one-car accident Wednesday on Up the Hill Road in Mount Pleasant, West Bay.
Police received a report of the accident involving a Suzuki Jimny at approximately 1:30 a.m. The driver was traveling from The Shores toward the junction with Meadow Avenue when he lost control of the car and collided with a chain link fence, causing major damage to his vehicle and the fence.
Police said the driver and a front seat passenger were taken by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where they were admitted in critical condition.
