The tennis tens initiative will continue into its fourth year on Grand Cayman thanks to sponsorship by Cayman National.
At first run only occasionally, the initiative – which targets children up to the age of 10 – now takes place throughout the districts.
It is played on a week-to-week basis at school level, thanks to the sponsorship. The overriding emphasis is enjoyment, but it also can be competitive depending on the group taking part.
Tennis administrator Richard Harrison said, “The continued support from Cayman National is crucial to the continuation of being able to provide this quality service to the children of Grand Cayman, primarily via Cayman Tennis Academy.
“On behalf of the Tennis Federation, we are highly appreciative of both these partners in helping keep our children active and providing fun in a structured environment.”
