Police seek quiet in Windsor Park

Royal Cayman Islands Police are cracking down on a neighborhood noise nuisance in Windsor Park, George Town.

Officers have noted that for some months the recreational community park in Windsor Park has been “plagued by small groups of young patrons” who are playing loud music. Police said the music is far too loud and is annoying local residents, particularly on weekends.

In response, the RCIPS and government Parks and Cemeteries Unit have installed a “No Loud Music” sign at the park, warning that violators could face a $500 fine on first conviction under the Towns and Communities Law.
