Scholars will not find Sunset dull

Scholars International face Sunset at the Ed Bush stadium in the most attractive fixture of the Premier League matches on Sunday.

Scholars have won all three league games so far. Sunset have started well too and are no longer an easy touch. They have genuine ambitions of winning the league.

Scholars beat Bodden Town 3-0 last weekend with goals from Rolly Bodden (2) and captain Tom Elliot. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and comes after Sunset women play Alliance at the same venue. Sunset women want to win all four trophies this season and are unbeaten so far this term. They should notch another win this weekend.

Bodden Town face Cayman Athletic at the Bodden Town field at 5 p.m. before Academy play Roma United in the late kickoff.

At the TE McField Annex, George Town face Elite in the early game before Elite and Scholars play each other in the other women’s fixture.

Last weekend Sunset men drew 1-1 with George Town, Academy cruised past Cayman Athletic 5-1 and Elite beat Roma 4-1.

Saturday night football is in the men’s Foster’s First Division. Future play Latinos at Ed Bush at 6 p.m., Cayman Brac host Savannah Tigers at 8 p.m., and North Side are at home to East End at 8 p.m.
